Clover is a mobile app that diagnoses houseplant problems from a photo — built on the idea that several independent AI opinions beat one confident guess.
The app
You take a photo of your plant and describe what you're seeing. Clover sends it to several AI models at once, each diagnosing the problem independently, and shows you where they agree and where they don't. From the consensus it builds a simple care plan: what to do this week, how to adjust watering and light, and what to watch for. It's available for iOS and Android.
Why several models instead of one?
Diagnosing a plant from a photo is genuinely ambiguous — overwatering, underwatering, pests and light problems can look almost identical. A single AI answer is often confident and wrong. Asking several models and showing you where they agree is more honest: when several models agree, the diagnosis is much more likely to be right, and when they don't, Clover says so.

Alongside the app, this site collects practical guides to common houseplant problems. The guides stand on their own — no app required.
How we use AI
The articles on this site are researched and drafted with AI assistance, and every article is reviewed and edited by a human before it is published. Care advice is checked against established horticultural sources. If you spot an error, please tell us and we'll correct it.
